The Rescue
It’s a music album by Explosions In The Sky, and it’s a fine piece of art.
I feel enlightened every time I indulge myself into the album. It’s very comforting and really keeps me going.
Not every one would feel the same way, but I had two people at a time who enjoyed it today. They (Rifki and Oliph) sure had their own opinions, but one thing we all have in common is the word "contemplative".
Hmmm… interesting…
Contemplation could end up either inspiring or depressing, but I guess today’s got the better of it.
I was listening to "The Rescue" with Oliph when a little suggestion to put the mood into words came. So be it, spontaneity would be interesting. And to spice things up, we agreed to take turns writing one line at a time. She did the honor to write first. We didn’t have a clue what the theme would be about. We just wrote whatever popped into our mind, and it turned out just fine.
Two separate minds with totally different backgrounds created a spontaneously good patterned-writing. Poetry? I don’t know. But what I do know is, sometimes inspiration comes in such humble and everyday way. And sometimes small things mean a lot. One person’s trash could be another person’s treasure. And this is our treasure. Because we really put ourselves and that certain mood into it.
Seperti menatap kesendirian di depan mata
Meninggalkan keramaian di belakang raga
Perlahan diam merangkum kedalaman jiwa
Memeluk cita, merayakan rasa
Kepingan-kepingan kecil berbaur, larutkan pilu
